Carousel Swim Club is a family owned and operated private membership club, located in Sheffield Village. The second generations of two families are now managing and operating the club. We are excited to be preparing for our 48th season of operation!
Our “Z”-shaped pool is 10,000 square feet and holds 360,000 gallons of crystal-clear water. We are proudly one of the largest outdoor pools of our kind in Northeast Ohio. We have something for everyone, even land-lovers. Carousel is quietly nestled in a beautiful, picturesque, country setting in the midst of 7 acres of land.
The uniqueness of Carousel’s shape provides three pools in one. Our junior pool is a great place for beginner swimmers to get their water legs, complete with a mini water slide. The main pool has a lap lane for the serious swimmers in addition to being the heart-of-a-day of fun in the sun. Our water slide, water basketball and water volleyball provide a full day for all water lovers. Our 12-foot diving hopper is one of the few remaining with 2 diving boards, a 1-meter and 3-meter board for the brave at heart. Our separate toddler pool is the favorite spot for our youngest members. Our immaculately kept grounds also have something for everyone. Our play area is complete with a basketball court, shuffleboard courts, sand volleyball court, swings, teeter-totters, oversized sand box, and shade patio for just relaxing if soaking up the sun is not for you.
What outdoor family fun facility would be complete without a snack bar? Or bring a good old-fashioned picnic basket (no glass containers permitted).
We gladly accommodate private picnics, birthday parties, family reunions, team parties, showers, etc. Whatever your needs, we have a private area to hold your special event. Club members have first choice of dates and areas. We have four private areas to choose from. Club hours of operation are from noon to 7:00 p.m. daily (weather permitting). After hour parties are welcome at an additional hourly charge.
